KISS Frontman Paul Stanley Auctions Historic Chevrolet Corvette Because It’s Too Good For Him

Factory customized by Chevrolet for Paul Stanley of KISS. Powered by a 6.2-liter V8 mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission. Custom metallic red tint coat with saddle interior. Includes an autographed Ibanez Paul Stanley Signature guitar. 749 miles.

It’s the ultimate KISS Army cruiser.

singer of KISS Paul Stanley auctions a 2022 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray Convertible that he specially ordered without knowing that he was going to get a historic vehicle.

The car is fitted with the Stingray’s high fender option, aggressive front splitter and side skirts, Edge Yellow brake calipers and is finished in Red Mist Metallic Tint paint which is similar to a Corvette Custom 2015 that Stanley helped Chevrolet design for its 2014 display SEMA Auto Show.

It proves Chevy made sure to release the first 2022 Stingray convertible with VIN 001, which makes it particularly unique. So much so that Stanley can’t “do him justice” and lets it go.

“I want to make it available to someone who could get the most out of it, whether that’s adding it to a collection or driving it.”

It will cross the block at the Barrett-Jackson Las Vegas auction, which runs from June 30 to July 2, and the Starchild will throw out an Ibanez PS120 Paul Stanley Signature guitar for the winning bidder.

It’s not the only Corvette Stanley has owned.

The first new car he ever bought after KISS made it big was a 1977 Corvette and he bought one of the eighth generation mid-engined Stingray coupes of the first year in 2020 and said “it raises the bar with cutting-edge technology. It’s a machine I’m proud to ride AND it’s GORGEOUS. I LOVE mine!”
