Green Day frontman Billie Joe Armstrong asks for help finding his stolen 1962 Chevy II – CBS Los Angeles
COSTA MESA (CBSA) – Green Day frontman Billie Joe Armstrong tweeted on Saturday that a classic 1960s Chevrolet he owned had been stolen and he encouraged anyone who might spot the vehicle to report the sighting to police.

The classic Chevy II, also known as the Nova, was reportedly stolen this weekend in Costa Mesa. It has a cheetah print interior and a black leather steering wheel.

The car was parked on Victoria Drive east of the Santa Ana River Friday afternoon, and police believe it may have been taken Saturday morning.
