Goodyear expands its portfolio of tires for electric vehicles

Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. has launched the Goodyear ElectricDrive all-season tire and two new sizes for its Goodyear ElectricDrive GT product.

With the addition of four new sizes to its line of electric vehicle (EV) tires, Goodyear ElectricDrive is now “engineered for 44% more battery-electric vehicles operating in the United States today,” according to officials. Goodyear.

The new Goodyear ElectricDrive comes with a 60,000-mile limited treadlife warranty, V-speed rating and is available in 215/50R17 95V XL and 215/55R17 94V SL sizes.

This all-season tire is designed for passenger sedans and CUVs, making it an ideal choice for vehicles like the Nissan Leaf, Chevrolet Bolt and Volt and Kia Niro EV.

Additionally, Goodyear has launched two new sizes for its ElectricDrive GT tire which was originally introduced in December 2021.

The ElectricDrive GT comes with a 40,000 mile limited tread life warranty, W speed rating and is now available in 255/45R19 104W XL, 235/45R18 98W XL and 235 sizes. /40R19 96W XL.
