Crash involving multiple vehicles turns fatal in Lebanon County
Pennsylvania State Police in Jonestown are investigating a fatal multiple vehicle crash in Lebanon County. The accident happened along the 2900 block of Rt. 72 in Union Township Wednesday afternoon, around 4:30 p.m. According to police documents, the accident involved a tractor-trailer and a Chevrolet Cavalier. The Cavalier, driven by Vanessa Henner, 25, of Lancaster, crossed the median while driving north on Rt. 72 before crashing into the semi-trailer head-on. The Lebanon County Coroner was called to the scene of the crash and pronounced Henner dead at the scene. The tractor-trailer driver was transported to Hershey Medical Center by Life Lion EMS for unknown injuries.
