For the past eight months, Brandon Brown, a full-time NASCAR Xfinity Series driver and small-team owner, has been at the epicenter of a political controversy not of his making. You know this one.

At the start of the 2022 racing season, Brown struggled to secure sponsorship for his No. 68 Chevrolet after a whirlwind of divisiveness, sparked by a new political rallying cry, deterred his racing team’s sponsors. prosperous. Just like that, he and his employees at Brandonbilt Motorsports were back to square one, and they’ve been rebuilding ever since.

What you might not know is that the seven-year veteran of NASCAR racing is behind his own marketing program and, unlike many racing drivers, is a college graduate with a Bachelor of Communications from Coastal Carolina University. Brown’s marketing endeavors began while he was still in high school, gaining experience he still uses today.
